Who we are
Nextdoor Logistics provides sourcing, procurement, freight and delivery services into Ghana. We are the data controller for the personal information described in this policy.
What we collect
- Contact details you give us, such as your name, email address and phone number.
- Shipment details, including the goods being imported, weight, origin and delivery address.
- Quote requests, including the figures you enter into our estimate calculator.
- Basic technical information such as your browser type and pages visited.
How we use it
- To prepare quotes and fulfil the shipments you ask us to handle.
- To clear goods through Ghana Customs and arrange last mile delivery.
- To keep you updated on the status of your shipment.
- To respond to enquiries you send through our contact form.
Who we share it with
We share only what is necessary with suppliers, freight carriers, clearing agents and delivery partners involved in your shipment, and with regulatory authorities where the law requires it. We do not sell your personal information.
How long we keep it
Shipment and customs records are retained for as long as required by Ghanaian tax and customs law. Enquiries and quote requests are kept only as long as they remain useful.
Your rights
Under Ghana's Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843) you may request access to the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we have no legal obligation to keep it. Contact us to make a request.
Security
Access to shipment records is restricted to authorised staff, each with their own account. Every staff action is logged against the individual who performed it.
